What Qualifies as a Dental Emergency?
In this video, Dr. Charles Pearson explains what mini dental implants are and how they differ from traditional implants in size, placement protocol, and cost.
The number one indicator of a dental emergency is pain. Your mouth will let you know when something is wrong. Other emergencies include knocking a tooth out, which must be replaced in the socket as soon as possible to save it, or having a front crown fall out right before an important event like a wedding.
However, things like chipped teeth or lost fillings that are not causing pain are not considered same-day emergencies. For those situations, you can call and make an appointment, and we will get you in as soon as we have an opening where we have more time to take care of it properly.
