Will Implant Dentures Affect My Ability To Eat and Speak?

In this video, Dr. Charles Pearson explains how implant dentures restore chewing and speaking ability thanks to their superior stability and longevity.

Implant dentures will improve your ability to eat and speak in a positive manner. Removing the palate from an upper denture exposes a number of taste buds in the roof of your mouth. It adds something like 40% of your taste, and you regain that when you get rid of the covering of the roof of your mouth. I’m not positive of that percentage, but it’s significant. So they do indeed increase your ability to taste and definitely your ability to chew.

And your ability to have confidence when you’re talking, smiling, and laughing.

If you or someone you love is struggling with missing teeth or loose dentures, contact Dr. Charles Pearson at St. Apollonia Dental in Sterling Heights, MI, for a free consultation to learn how our dental implant treatments can enhance your smile, improve your function, and restore your self-confidence.
